No. 839 is an electrically-heated, 850 F walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for heat treating and high-temperature batch paint baking. Workspace dimensions measure 72"W x 120"D x 72"H. 120 kW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 12,500 cfm, 10-hp recirculating blower provides a combination horizontal/vertical airflow to the workload. It features an aluminized steel exterior and interior with 7-inch thick insulated walls, plus a 4-inch thick insulated floor with built-in truck wheel guide tracks. Inner and outer door gaskets are provided, with the inner gasket sealing against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals directly against the front face of the oven.
