2024 AMT Top 40 Under 40: Nattapong Seenea

Nattapong Seenea has risen through the ranks in Siam Land Flying Co., Ltd. from a mechanic with little knowledge and experience to a respected leader.

Seenea has shown exceptional aptitude throughout his short career, mastering tasks from the simplest to the most complex. He approaches his work professionally and nothing is too much for him. He commits to the serviceability of the aircraft and has the ability to see the broader picture. Seenea always uses a logical approach and liaises well with flight crew to support expedient rectification.

 “Success in aviation requires work hard and work smart, teamwork, and continuous learning,” Seenea said. “No one can do everything alone, and collaborating effectively is key.”

Over the past five years, Seenea has gained his CAAT license and has also studied for and received his FAA A&P license. Additionally, he has completed type training for the G650, Global Express series, and Hawker 700, 800, and 900 aircraft. He has excelled in all his training courses, finishing among the top in his class. His fantastic attitude, aptitude, and enhanced work ethic have led to his promotion to Deputy Maintenance Manager of the company.

Seenea is a very conscientious individual. Whether it is a major inspection or a filament replacement, he is committed to the serviceability of the aircraft at hand. His logical approach and adherence to aircraft maintenance manuals demonstrate his commitment to industry standards. His approach to his peers is always supportive, and he is known for his level-headedness and willingness to assist their needs.

Seenea has repeatedly shown that he can handle tasks from major base maintenance to minor line support efficiently, utilizing maintenance manuals, colleagues, and OEM field support
