A small plane with two people on board landed Wednesday afternoon along U.S. 27 in the Everglades in Broward County, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

A single-engine Cessna 172P landed around 3 p.m. on the highway’s southbound lanes, north of Interstate 75, after the pilot reported engine issues about an hour earlier, the FAA said.

No injuries were reported, Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Lt. Indiana Miranda told the Miami Herald.

According to the FAA’s website, the plane, manufactured in 1986, is registered to the Pembroke Pines-based company Fixed Wing Holding Co. Inc.

As of 4:30 p.m., all lanes were open at mile marker 39 after the plane was relocated to a nearby boat ramp.
