Berlin — The plant of the Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer Antonov in the capital Kiev was shelled by Russian forces, the city administration said.
Rescue works were on site, it said via Telegram, but it was initially unclear whether there were any casualties.
The news portal strana.news published pictures and videos showing a huge cloud of smoke but further details were not available.
The company builds both cargo and passenger aircraft. The plant is located in the north-west of Kiev.
