GACA will focus on strengthening bilateral relationships, fostering commercial partnerships, exploring investment opportunities, and identifying areas for collaboration to enhance the aviation sector.

The three-day event is being held at El Alamein International Airport in northern Egypt, with participants from over 100 countries, 300 exhibitors, and leaders in the aviation and aerospace industries.

The exhibition will showcase advanced technologies, equipment, and the latest civil and commercial aircraft, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Recently, Saudi Arabia's civil aviation sector has undergone significant transformation and achieved record milestones in line with the national aviation strategy.

Between January and June this year, the sector saw a 17 percent increase in passenger numbers, totaling 62 million, and a 12 percent rise in flights, reaching 446,000, surpassing pre-COVID-19 levels.

Meanwhile, GACA has been working to update regulations to encourage growth and innovation in the Kingdom's aviation sector.
