The Austrian aerospace group FACC was recently presented with the "Best Practice Award" by Rolls-Royce. With this award, the British engine manufacturer acknowledges the excellent performance and quality of the long-standing partnership.
FACC was presented with the "Best Practice Award" and honored as a pioneer in the area of process and quality stability at the 2020 Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Conference in Berlin. During the award ceremony held in the course of the Global Supplier Conference, the exceptional FACC spirit and the proactive, cross-functional approach of the FACC workforce were praised as exemplary. "I am very proud of the achievements of the FACC crew. The 'Best Practice Award' from Rolls-Royce is a prestigious distinction that I am particularly delighted about. I would like to congratulate our highly qualified workforce on receiving this award. It is only as a team and by consistently further developing our products and processes according to the individual needs of our customers that we are able to perfectly meet the requirements of the market and thus excellently position ourselves as a partner for future orders," explained Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC, on the occasion of the presentation of the award.
Innovative strength and increased efficiency are part of FACC's DNA
The aerospace industry is developing at a rapid pace. Making air traffic even lighter, more efficient, quieter and more environmentally friendly is the great challenge that FACC will face in the years to come in research, development and system manufacturing. Innovative and novel solutions are in demand, particularly for the most highly stressed engine segments where noise and fuel reductions are essential in addition to low weight and maximum stability. FACC's Rolls-Royce engine portfolio includes bypass ducts, nose spinners, fan track liners and acoustic liners. With this award, Rolls-Royce honors the outstanding performance of the Austrian aerospace group. "We are proud that Rolls-Royce has been placing its trust in FACC for 20 years now," said Machtlinger. "This award is a confirmation of the daily commitment of our employees and strengthens our position as a reliable technology partner in the global aerospace market.”
