Bell Textron Inc. announced during VAI Verticon 2025 that it has completed the delivery of Global Medical Response’s first IFR-configured Bell 407GXi, marking the beginning of 24 anticipated aircraft deliveries to the air medical service operator.

In November 2024, Bell announced the signed purchase agreement for 15 Bell 407GXis outfitted with IFR configuration kits with an option to purchase nine additional aircraft for Global Medical Response, bringing its total fleet to 250 Bell helicopters.

With the ability to cruise at 133 kts (246 km/h) while remaining fuel efficient, the Bell 407GXi is a popular platform for air medical agencies. With single-pilot IFR capability and adjustable cabin space, the Bell 407GXi allows operators to perform in demanding environments while carrying essential medical equipment needed during emergency missions.
