Northwest Dynamics, Inc. Secures FAA Approval for Full PMA Line
MESA, AZ (November 17, 2014) – Northwest Dynamics, Inc. (NDI) and Able Aerospace, Inc. are ramping up
a new distribution partnership following this month’s FAA approval of NDI’s Bell Rotor Brake components and
assemblies. NDI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer supplier of Bell Rotor Brakes for Bell 206 and 407
aircraft.
As NDI’s exclusive distributor, Able will stock and handle distribution for all of the company’s proprietary Bell
206 and 407 rotor brake parts. Prior to its distribution agreement with Able, NDI had not offered parts at the
aftermarket level.
“NDI has been working very diligently toward this milestone,” said Able Aerospace, Inc. President Anthony
Saenz. “We are excited to be a part of the benchmark in their growth, and to take this final step in bringing
NDI’s products to Bell operators and owners. These are parts with the same fit, form and function as OEM
options, but with greater availability and at a potential savings of tens of thousands of dollars.”
“Partnering with Able brings our PMA line full circle – with NDI providing an exceptional parts alternative and
Able providing three decades of expertise and a significant network of contacts in the MRO community,” said
Northwest Dynamics President and CEO, William Kelly.
Able operates one of the world’s largest helicopter repair facilities and an inventory of more than 8,000
certified PMA parts and component repairs. Its proprietary, value-driven PMA parts for Bell, Sikorsky and
Agusta operators now include Transmission Duplex Bearings, Pillow Block Bearings and Rotor Brake Discs.
These new FAA certified PMA parts are competitively priced, allowing operators to significantly reduce their
operating cost with components that are available on demand. Able has numerous other Bell parts in the final
stages of testing and certification that will further increase its already robust product line for the Bell 206 and
407 platforms.
