ATP, the leading provider of information services and software solutions for the aviation industry, recently received authorization for the Honeywell T55 Turboshaft Engine.
The provider now has the ability to offer necessary maintenance publications through ATP’s Aviation Hub platform to companies that maintain and manage the T55 engine that Honeywell is a manufacturer of.
“Not only has ATP been in the business for 50 years, but we’re also in over 146 countries,” said Tim Taylor, senior vice president of business development for ATP. “Customers all over the world rely on us to provide them with the publications that they need in order to stay compliant with regulations and keep the airplanes and helicopters safe. This is a great addition to our diverse offerings.”
According to Honeywell, to date, more than 6,000 T55 engines have been produced, logging some 12 million hours of operation on the Boeing CH-47 Chinook and MH-47 helicopters.
In addition to Honeywell, ATP has several other partnerships with original equipment manufacturers, including MD Helicopters, Schweizer Helicopter and Enstrom Helicopter, among others.
ATP will be in attendance at the upcoming Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli Expo, the world's largest trade show dedicated to the helicopter industry, on March 6 - 9 in Atlanta, Ga. Attendees can stop by Booth #B3534 to see how ATP’s aircraft maintenance software can give organizations more uptime, as well as the benefits of going paperless to maximize operational efficiencies.
