Aviation Enthusiasts Laud Enstrom Appearance at EAA AirVenture
Company representatives with Enstrom Helicopter Corporation are proud to have participated in this year’s EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Enstrom has been a consistent presence at EAA for more than 30 years.
Despite sometimes sweltering temperatures, early reports indicate record attendance at the weeklong event. In a typical year, AirVenture attracts roughly 600,000 visitors during its seven days of hands-on workshops, diverse aircraft displays, informative programs, and thrilling displays of aerobatics. This year’s festival concluded on July 30.
As the only certified helicopter OEM to annual show at AirVenture, Enstrom dazzled the crowd by exhibiting three helicopters, including the latest 480B and 280FX models. Visitors could see first-hand the all-glass instrument panel debuted at HAI HELI-EXPO in Atlanta. In addition to the high-tech hardware, Enstrom also demonstrated the superior quality of its new, sleek helicopter interiors and impeccable external paint jobs.
Enstrom leaders took advantage of the opportunity to network with existing Enstrom customers and meet potential new customers.
“We’ve had so many folks stop by and tell us how excited they are we are back in business,” said Enstrom Helicopter Corporation owner Chuck Surack. “It’s been more than a year since I purchased Enstrom, and I want everyone to know how passionate and committed I am to sustaining Enstrom’s image as a world-renowned helicopter manufacturer. What better avenue to have done that than in front of hundreds of thousands of people at EAA?”
With EAA now in the rear-view mirror, Enstrom will focus on preparing for a trip across the pond. Company officials plan to participate in EUROPEAN ROTORS this November. It’s a unique platform for helicopter OEMs to do business and share knowledge in a three-day, comprehensive educational program.
