Interjet Airlines announced Jan. 25, new nonstop service between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). The new service will offer three flights a week between San Francisco and Mexico.
“The Bay Area is a thriving center of arts and technology, business, sports and innovation,” said José Luis Garza, Interjet’s chief executive officer. “We’re delighted to be able to offer business and leisure travelers to Mexico, our unique brand of lower prices with free checked bags on select fares, more legroom between seats and great service that has been embraced everywhere we fly.” he added.
Interjet’s new service between San Francisco and Mexico will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft seating 150 passengers.
