ANA and Steve Aoki Celebrate the Launch of New First and Business Class Suites on Tokyo-New York Route

Nov. 6, 2019

All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest and 5-Star airline for seven consecutive years, is bringing its revamped Boeing 777-300ER — designed in collaboration with famed architect Kengo Kuma and leading British design firm Acumen — to the Tokyo-New York route. The first flight from Tokyo will be NH110 (Tokyo/Haneda-New York) and the first out of New York will be NH9 (New York-Tokyo/Narita). Both flights will be departing on November 8th in their respective local time zones.

“We are excited to introduce the new top-of-the-line Boeing 777-300ER to the Tokyo-New York route,” said Shigeru Hattori, Senior Vice President of the Americas. “The Boeing 777-300ER is an important addition bringing cutting edge technology and additional comfort to enhance the travel experience to our passengers. This occasion is certainly worth celebrating and we are thrilled that Steve Aoki will be joining us to commemorate the debut of these redesigned interiors on this important route.”

Hattori himself will be present at the immersive experience to help introduce the new products alongside Steve Aoki who is set to perform an exclusive preview of his upcoming album, Neon Future IV. As the world’s most traveled DJ and an experienced international traveler with ANA, Aoki is familiar with the airline’s five-star service, unmatched hospitality and commitment to excellence. An ANA partner since 2016, Aoki has collaborated with the airline on a number of prominent projects—the new Boeing 777-30ER being the latest in their eminent, world class partnership.

Attendees will be able to experience the redesigned seats for themselves through 1:1 mockups that will be on display.

Passengers traveling between Haneda and London have already expressed their appreciation of the upgraded interiors of the aircraft and praised their top-of-the-line comfort and convenience. Given the popularity of these aircraft and ANA’s commitment to continually improving service, ANA is planning to bring the redesigned Boeing 777-300ER to the Tokyo/Haneda-Frankfurt in 2020 winter schedule.
