New market outpost features BPM vendors, full service bar and more.

After four years of operation in Downtown Boston and nearly 8 million visitors welcomed through its doors, the Boston Public Market will be opening a second location with global restaurateur, HMSHost, and airport concessions developer and manager, MarketPlace Logan in Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal C. Slated to open in late fall, the 6,000-square-foot outpost will reflect the same mission and high quality food as BPMA’s flagship market at 100 Hanover Street and showcase to Logan Airport’s more than 40 million annual travelers fresh food from Massachusetts and New England for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The new location will feature several food entrepreneurs currently at 100 Hanover Street in addition to a “grab and go” snack option, salad bar, and full-service Market Bar with beer, wine and liquor.

Offerings at the Boston Public Market at Logan will include:

  • BPM Fresh Eats: A fresh, seasonally focused salad bar stocked with locally sourced produce, as the seasons permit.
  • BPM On the Fly: Offering quick, grab-and-go snacks and small gifts and artisanal items from a variety of Boston Public Market vendors.
  • Market Bar: A full service bar highlighting New England-sourced beer, wine and liquor.
  • Beantown Pastrami: Offering pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, pastrami burgers and homemade sides like half-sour pickles and coleslaw.
  • Inna’s Kitchen: Homemade, made-to-order hot plates, including falafel, chicken shawarma and Shakshuka, in addition to soups, pitas and cold salads.
  • Market Bagels: Offering a wide variety of freshly made bagels, cream cheese spreads, and bagel sandwiches.
  • Mother Juice: A selection of made-to-order juices, smoothies, salads, vegan treats and more.
  • Noodle Lab: Offering ramen, signature rice bowls and small bites, including vegetarian and pork gyoza and wakame salad.
  • Red’s Best: Fresh lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, seafood-focused salads and more.

Designed to mirror the 100 Hanover Street location, vendors will be represented in stall-style units surrounded by corrugated metal and salvaged barn board accents. Seating will be available in the center of the space, and a “HUB” board will display Market news and promotions.

“We have been overwhelmed by the impact the Boston Public Market has had in just four years of operation and the response we have received from the community. We are proud to support New England food producers and to provide fresh and healthy food while educating customers about the importance of local sourcing. We admire MassPort’s commitment to restructuring their food and beverage options to be healthier and more progressive as consumers want to feed their families simple, good food, and we are thrilled to partner with HMSHost and Marketplace at our Logan location. It is truly a privilege to showcase our innovative food entrepreneurs, artisans and chefs to visitors at Logan Airport,” said Cheryl Cronin, CEO of the Boston Public Market.

The BPM will be part of Logan Airport’s offerings based on lifestyle trends fueling the demand for healthier, local food at airports. BPM at the airport will be operated with HMSHost.

“Boston Public Market at Logan Airport will bring the experience of New England’s culinary landscape to new heights by offering its unique character and charm in the airport. Today, airports serve as a platform to launch culinary and consumer trends and we look forward to opening BPM to provide fresh, locally-sourced products for travelers from around the world to enjoy,” said Anthony Alessi, vice president of business development, HMSHost.
