Marketplace PHL Hires Ashley Vesay as New Leasing Manager
MarketPlace PHL, the management company for PHL Food and Shops, announced the hiring of Ashley Vesay as the newest leasing manager.
Vesay will be responsible for the ongoing stabilization efforts of more than 170 current eateries and retailers. She will also be responsible for the continued development of a dynamic merchandising program focused around quality and diversity as the industry progresses into the future.
Prior to joining MarketPlace PHL, Vesay served as a senior leasing representative for Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust where she was responsible for creating a new business development program, cultivating relationships and executing leases with new and expanding retailers throughout the company’s portfolio. Vesay was also responsible for specific leasing responsibilities for multiple shopping centers in the Maryland, New Jersey and Wisconsin markets.
Vesay holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Temple University, and even spent a semester abroad at Temple University’s Rome, Italy campus. In her spare time, Vesay serves as an active board member for NAIOP’s Developing Leader program.
“We’re very excited to welcome Ashley to the MarketPlace PHL team,” said Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace PHL. “Ashley’s background and extensive industry experience will be a great addition to strengthen and grow our PHL Food and Shops program.”
