With a rich background in project, program, and construction management, Michael has managed a diverse portfolio of projects, including government and corporate buildings, airports, hospitals, educational institutions, highways, transit systems, and industrial facilities. His expertise has also made him a sought-after expert witness in complex legal cases. 

Michael pioneered the firm’s “One Team. Shared Success.℠” philosophy, emphasizing project-first thinking, a delivery-focused organization, and the use of advanced tools and analytics for risk mitigation and informed decision-making. This strategy fosters a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, respect, and trust, essential for managing the complex dynamics typical in construction projects. The firm’s approach proved crucial in the successful $400 million renovation of the International Monetary Fund’s Headquarters 1 in Washington, DC.

A specialist in rescuing projects that are behind schedule and over budget, Michael has successfully led the turnaround of several high-profile projects, including the Southwest Freeway Reconstruction Program in Texas, which earned him industry accolades and a feature in Engineering News-Record. 

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He is an active member of the New York Building Congress Board of Directors and has served on its Foundation Board of Governors. In 2023, he was honored with City & State New York’s “50 over Fifty - The Age Disruptors” award, recognizing his significant contributions and leadership in the industry.
