Austin-Bergstrom International Airport welcomed the decision by Air Canada to add a second nonstop flight from Austin to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, beginning on April 29, 2019.

“Air Canada has been very pleased by the strong response from Austin to our services and the community’s ability to attract visitors flying from Canada. To build on this demand, we will add a second, six-times-weekly frequency for this summer to complement our daily flight,” said Lisa Pierce, senior director, USA sales and market development. “This additional capacity will provide business customers more choice and convenient timings, including for connections with international flights at our Toronto global hub.”

The new YYZ-AUS flight will operate until Oct. 26, 2019, departing Austin at 11:25 a.m. and arriving in Toronto at 3:44 p.m. Flights from Toronto will depart at 8:15 a.m. and arrive in Austin at 10:41 a.m. The current daily service departs Austin at 4:45 p.m. and arrives in Toronto at 9:15 p.m., with flights from Toronto departing at 1:35 p.m., arriving in Austin at 4:01 p.m.
