Hartsfield-Jackson Wins 2021 Airport Service Quality Award
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) was recognized, once again, for its commitment to customer experience in 2021. ATL earned the prestigious 2021 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for “Best Airport by Size and Region (over 40 million passengers per year in North America).” This is the second consecutive year ATL was recognized as the top airport in its category. Awarded by Airports Council International (ACI) World, the ASQ Awards recognize airport excellence in customer experience worldwide, based on data collected from ASQ departure and arrival surveys. ASQ interviews 670,000 passengers per year prior to boarding their flight, asking them to rate their satisfaction with the airport’s services.
“Providing our passengers with a best-in-class experience is our top priority here at ATL,” said Airport General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari. “We are thankful to Airports Council International for this recognition and for their work in capturing the voice of our customers.”
“Congratulations to Hartsfield-Jackson on its well-deserved ASQ award which reflects their commitment to improve the passenger experience,” said Luis Felipe de Oliveira, director general of ACI World. “This year’s awards celebrate airports that are prioritizing the travel experience for passengers at a time when the voice of the passenger has never been more important.”
Launched in 2006, the ASQ passenger satisfaction program includes nearly 400 participating airports in 95 countries.
