Sennheiser Joins Forces with Think Global Flight in Support of STEM Education
Oshkosh, WI — July 24, 2012 — Audio specialist Sennheiser announced today its support of Think Global Flight’s around-the-world flight promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) educationand the boundless opportunities that the aviation and aerospace industries provide worldwide.
Sennheiser will provide the Think Global Flight crew with its S1 Digital active noise canceling headsets for its worldwide trip in the Cirrus SR20 G3, which will take off from Honolulu, Hawaii next fall and wrap up in Cairo, Egypt, for a total of 177 flight hours (view route here). The groundbreaking S1 Digital headsets will help the crew accomplish their long flights with clear communication and state-of-the-art digital adaptive noise cancellation, while preventing high levels of fatigue. In addition, Sennheiser has announced that Think Global Flight's Captain, Judy Rice, will become an Ambassador for Sennheiser's "Live Your Dream" scholarship program, which supports aspiring pilots.
