WSI and Honeywell have an Approved Flight Plan for Strategic Collaboration
ANDOVER, Mass. (October 22, 2013) WSI Corporation and Honeywell Aerospace’s Global Data Center (GDC) continue our strategic collaboration to advance operations management services for clients of GDC’s Aircraft Datalink Communications. Using the datalink capability of position reporting, WSI’s Fusion aircraft situational display is enabled with worldwide precision aircraft tracking and monitoring.
WSI Fusion is a proactive operations management solution that fuses public and proprietary weather information, airspace constraints, flight information, and operational data into a unified and clear operational picture to streamline and enhance operational decision making. WSI Fusion helps dispatchers, operations personnel, and managers stay aware and ahead of changing conditions, mitigate the impact of disruptive events, and ultimately stay on plan, on time, and on budget.
The collaboration allows each organization to focus on core competencies while significantly enhancing the value of services to business aviation operators. Strengthening the capability in this agreement, Honeywell GDC acquires expert aviation weather information to advance their trip support and operational weather services. With established and respected business aviation capabilities like Flight Sentinel® and International Trip Support, GDC also benefits from WSI’s Fusion flight operation platform and global forecast services to secure early insight into disruptive conditions and proactively manage flights.
“Getting customers to the destination on-time and budget, conveniently and safely takes diligent planning and flawless execution by the entire flight operation,” says WSI EVP and GM of Aviation Mark D. Miller “Bringing the capabilities of WSI and Honeywell GDC together into respective services will greatly improve planning and execution through all phases of operation.”
