IAOPA Announces Venue for 29th World Assembly

The 29th IAOPA World Assembly will be hosted by AOPA New Zealand on March 25-29, 2018 at the Rydges Lakeland Resort in Queenstown, New Zealand on the shores of Lake Wakatipu.

FREDERICK, MD – The International Council of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (IAOPA) is pleased to announce the 29th IAOPA World Assembly will be hosted by AOPA New Zealand on March 25-29, 2018 at the Rydges Lakeland Resort in Queenstown, New Zealand on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. The World Assembly brings together the 78 affiliates who make up the largest aviation organization in the world to discuss general aviation’s global challenges and opportunities as well as refine the priorities for the organization going forward.  

AOPA President Mark Baker said, “The IAOPA World Assembly is the premier global event for general aviation leaders to gather and discuss how we can best direct efforts to grow the pilot population, support effective and right-sized regulations, and work together to meet our other challenges in defending the freedom to fly."
