Gore Featuring High Performance Solutions for Aerospace Industry at 2017 Paris Air Show
DUNDEE TECHNOLOGY PARK, UK, June 6, 2017 — W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (Gore) will present its most extensive collection of new and proven products at the largest international air show in Paris, June 19-25, at Hall 2B, Stand F170.
By combining dielectric expertise with innovative fluoropolymer materials, Gore’s high-performance solutions continue to meet the complex challenges and requirements of the aerospace industry time and time again without failure. For more than 50 years, the aerospace industry has depended on Gore to provide reliable, long-lasting solutions for commercial airlines; military aircraft and personnel; and spacecraft, satellites, and launch vehicles.
Cables and materials that will be on display this year include small, lightweight high data rate cables and high power/signal delivery cables. During the air show, a selection of these cables will be featured on an authentic F-35 JSF helmet. Also on display will be highly flexible and rugged coaxial & microwave/RF assemblies; excellent shielding materials; and lightweight, no-cure aircraft sealants installed on a section of an aircraft wing.
For military personnel, Gore will be exhibiting advanced technical fabrics that maximize comfort and protection in the toughest surroundings. Gore’s stand will also feature venting solutions that protect highly sensitive aircraft electronic systems from the harshest environmental conditions.
