“Everyone is tired of the pandemic and isolation. Of course, over the past year we have adapted to the restrictions. Many talks and presentations were moved online. But nothing can replace live meetings and live communication. This is why Aero India is a breath of fresh air. I am really looking forward to this exhibition. India is our longtime partner with whom we already share multiple joint projects. In addition to supply of military and civilian products these also include the creation of joint ventures within the framework of the Make in India program. I am confident that the exhibition will be useful for both parties," said the Director for International Cooperation and Regional Policy of Rostec State Corporation, Viktor Kladov.
In particular, the Russian Helicopters holding will demonstrate a model of the Ka-226T light multipurpose helicopter, which is an ideal vehicle for Indian climate and geography. The Mi-28NE, Mi-171Sh and Mi-17V5 helicopters, the Ka-52 combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter, and the Ka-31 airborne early warning and control helicopter will also be on display.
For the first time abroad, Rosoboronexport will demonstrate the K-16 armored personnel carrier and the K-17 infantry fighting vehicle on the next generation wheeled platform Boomerang. This unique platform can act as a basis for creating a wide range of modular applications for weapons and equipment.
The traditionally popular Pantsir-S1anti-aircraft missile and gun system will also be present at the ground vehicle exhibition. Other vehicles include the Typhoon K-63968, Typhoon K-53949 AFVs, and the armored ambulance "Linza."
