Baker and Marousek will cover a wide range of topics during the 8:00 pm ET virtual session, including the health and strength of general aviation, advocacy issues that aviators face across the country, AOPA’s work to support members’ freedom to fly, resources for pilots and aircraft owners to remain safely in the skies, ensuring a strong future for general aviation, and how GA has fared in the face of the pandemic.

The event will be carried live on AOPA’s YouTube channel and will provide an opportunity for viewers to weigh in with questions through the channel’s chat function.

Baker will also provide insight into his discussions with members and local officials across the country.

“I hear so many wonderful things from aviators when I meet with them, and I try to share those insights with members as much as I can,” said Baker. “I look forward to a lively discussion with Jiri and giving our members the opportunity to weigh in and learn more about what their association does for them on a daily basis.”
