NBAA Awards C&W Family Scholarship to Support Professional Development
The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced that Anne Williams is the 2022 recipient of the C&W Family Scholarship, which is given annually to promote professional development in business aviation by providing financial support for qualified Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) exam candidates.
NBAA Charities and the C&W Family annually award up to $2,500 to one business aviation professional seeking continued professional development opportunities to advance their existing careers.
Williams is a planning specialist, aircraft dispatch with Pentastar Aviation, based in Michigan. She has more than 10 years of experience in business aviation and recently switched from a Part 91 operation to a Part 135 operation. She is planning to use the CAM credential to further her knowledge of business aviation and gain leadership experience.
The CAM credential provides a clear industry standard for preparation and achievement in aviation management. The program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, and is the first program in the aviation industry to receive this recognition.
