C&S Propeller Adds to Its Regional Airline Products Composite Propeller Blade Repair and Overhaul Capability
C&S Propeller has begun offering repair and overhaul service to composite propeller blades on the ATR 42 (400-500 series) and ATR 72 (500-600 series) short-haul regional airline twin-engine turboprops. Designated as the model 568F propeller, the blades are also flown on the EADS CASA C-295 twin-turboprop tactical military transport aircraft.
The addition of the 568F blade repair and overhaul capability contributes to additional Hamilton Sunstrand composite propeller blades already served by C&S. These additional props and aircraft models are:
Propeller Model 14RF
- Casa 235
- SAAB 340
- Embraer 120
Propeller Model 14SF
- de Havilland -8 (100-200-300 series)
- ATR 72 (100-200 series)
Propeller Model 24PF
- de Havilland -7
Buddy Tobin, VP of Sales, sees the additional 568F capability as a good fit for C&S and a logical value-added service for global operators. “C&S has the technical expertise and knowledge that has made us the leader in composite blade repair and overhaul. It is a process that is technically challenging and requires precision workmanship. Adding the 568F line makes the repair and overhaul choice even easier for operators and gives them the confidence they need to keep their fleets flying safely.”
