Resort Aviation Teams Up with Schweitzer Mountain Recreation Companies for Unique Mountain Adventures

Resort Aviation Jet Center announced Jan. 30. that they have teamed up with Schweitzer Mountain Resort and Selkirk Powder Company to offer visitors world‐class winter sports experiences in the Northwest. Through this partnership, visitors can enjoy seamless jet to mountain transfer and a host of unique winter recreation and adventure experiences including skiing, snowboarding, backcountry cat skiing, snowmobiling, and heli‐skiing.

Located at Coeur d’Alene Airport (KCOE) in Hayden, Idaho, Resort Aviation Jet Center has been serving the Northern Idaho business and general aviation community since 1980. Offering all of the standard services that you expect from an FBO, Resort Aviation boasts professionally trained and courteous staff, a welcoming lobby, pilots lounge, large aircraft parking adjacent to their facility, type 1 deicing and heated hangars for winter operations. The Coeur d’Alene airport is a part 139 ARFF certified airport with a 7,400‐foot runway, complete with ILS, VOR, and RNAV approaches.

Schweitzer Mountain Resort is the premier ski resort in the Pacific Northwest region. The resort is complete with ski‐in, ski‐out lodging, restaurants, bars, shops, spa services, onsite childcare, and a bustling town center. Selkirk Powder Company operates at Schweitzer Mountain Resort and offers adventures to thrill seekers who visit the mountain. The company provides adrenaline‐filled winter experiences including snowmobiling, cat skiing, and heli‐skiing. As part of this partnership, Selkirk will be offering heli‐skiing trips that can depart directly from Resort Aviation Jet Center at the Coeur d’Alene Airport. “The Selkirk Powder Guides provide a full range of winter adventures with ease of access that is unparalleled in the lower 48,” said Selkirk Powder’s Director of Marketing, Alf Cromwell. “There’s a depth of experiences suitable for groups with differing interests and ability levels. Right now we are even working on top of the deepest snowpack in the Country.”

Schweitzer Mountain is only a one‐hour drive from Resort Aviation Jet Center via all‐wheel drive rental car or black car service. Both options offer visitors views of the beautiful Idaho backcountry and Lake Pend Oreille.
