May 30, 2018 – Jetex will open a new FBO adjacent to the main terminal at the Dublin Airport in Ireland’s lively capital city. The new terminal will provide private jet passengers a gateway to the home of Dublin Castle and city streets filled with music and mirth.
“Ireland is preparing for a surge in air traffic in the coming years,” said Adel Mardini, Jetex CEO and President. “We’re excited to expand our FBO network to include Dublin.”
The Dublin Airport, located six miles north of Dublin, is Ireland’s busiest. Over 80,000 passengers pass through the airport every day. It has an extensive short and medium haul network and significant long-haul traffic focused on North America, Middle East, and East Asia.
Private jet traffic is around 3,500 departures a year and is expected to grow at a steady pace.
“It’s the perfect time for Jetex to open here,” said Brendan McQuaid, Managing Director for Jetex’s Dublin FBO. “Dublin is booming right now, the airport itself is scaling up, and there are so many jet operators and corporations that generate a lot of air traffic. We needed Jetex in Dublin.”
The opening of this FBO highlights the company’s continuous expansion in the European market with Jetex facilities located in Italy, France, and Spain. The new FBO will have a lounge for crew and for passengers, access to a world-class platinum lounge. The services at this location will include, ground handling, fuel, concierge, and full dispatch package. It should be operational in the next few weeks.
A full spectrum of flight support, ground transfer, and bespoke concierge services will also be available at the facility or via Jetex’s operations centers in Dubai, Miami, and Beijing.
