Unitron's UFC Series combination AC/DC ground power units includes lightweight 115/200VAC, 400Hz, 28VDC, and 270VDC mobile and fixed converters for aircraft ground power applications in the hangar or ramp area. The dual output AC/DC GPU provides simultaneous AC and DC power from a single GPU. Because a single unit can do the work of two, Unitron's AC/DC PwrKart reduces operating and maintenance costs, and eases ramp congestion.

Unitron’s upgraded GPUs, designated its “U Series” offer features, many of which have not yet been offered to the ground support equipment markets. The series offers 400Hz AC, 28VDC, and 270VDC outputs. It is CE and UL compliant/certified and meets the NEC and EN-60079-10, 18-inch regulations for hangar safety standards.
