Tronair offers several ground power units, both solid state and Tier 3 engine driven, that supply 28.5 VDC in rugged, compact, maneuverable units. The diesel or Jet A fuel engine driven unit produces 800 amps continuous and 2,000 amps peak. The gasoline engine driven unit meets California Clean Air standards and produces 150 amps continuous and 1,000 amps peak, and was designed for the VLJ market.
Tronair offers another innovative solution, a Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) combo unit. The engine driven, air conditioning/heating/ground power unit was designed to service regional aircraft. The mobile unit has a Tier 3, 80 kW, engine driven diesel generator. The generator powers a 20 ton air conditioner, a 36kW heater, and a 400 A continuous/1600 A starting 28.5 VDC ground power unit.
