Hydraulic Hybrid Retrofit

Hydraulic Hybrid Systems, a subsidiary of Lightning Hybrids, has created a hydraulic hybrid retrofit for fleet vehicles. HHS's solution inserts a high-efficiency, light-weight hydraulic propulsion system in the drivetrain of a vehicle and delivers at least 40 percent improvement in fuel economy by regenerating braking energy to be used during acceleration.
