Landmark Aviation today named Michael Moore as its new Vice President of Program Management at Associated Air Center, a Landmark Aviation company based at Dallas Love Field (DAL).
"Michael brings several years of aviation industry experience and a solid knowledge base in operations, inspections and program management to this new role at Associated Air Center," said Jeff Bosque, President, Associated Air Center. "We are pleased to have him join our world-class aircraft completion center."
Moore will be responsible for the operation's aircraft completion and heavy maintenance work, using program management practices and systems to the aircraft completion cycle.
He previously worked at TIMCO Aviation Services as Vice President and General Manager, providing overall management for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider. Prior to that, Moore was Director of Operations at Northwest Airlines, managing the commercial carrier's fleet of engine. Previous positions at the airline include Director of Inspection and Inspection Manager.
Moore earlier managed large aircraft fleets for the U.S. Air Force, providing direction for maintenance, inspections and quality assurance.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He holds A&P licenses.
Associated Air Center offers a full range of design and luxurious completion options for transport class aircraft. AAC professionals work with customers from original concept through the design of the floor plan to selection of fabric, furniture and fixture fabrication, and the integration of cabin and cockpit systems including audio/visual equipment, business computers, facsimile machines, voice scramblers and security components.
