Global Aerospace Announces Enhanced Family Assistance with Crisis Management
Parsippany, New Jersey – Global Aerospace, Inc., a leading provider of aerospace insurance, is pleased to announce a new offering of enhanced family assistance, including crisis management benefits, to turbine aircraft hull and liability policyholders based in the US. The Enhanced Family Assistance endorsement will respond in the event of significant injuries to passengers or crew members in addition to providing reimbursement of critical crisis management costs.
This unique offering will be available beginning on January 1, 2019 and is another example of Global Aerospace’s commitment to continuous improvement. Jeff Bruno, president and chief underwriting officer at Global Aerospace, Inc. comments, “We recognize that families need care when their loved ones are injured in an aviation accident. This new option gives owners and operators peace of mind that two of their most important assets – their people and their brand – are protected.”
Under the Enhanced Family Assistance endorsement, insurers will pay expenses associated with the emotional care and support of the spouse, child, parent, grandparent, legal guardian, brother, or sister of an injured passenger or crew member, including:
* Family Member Care
* Counseling
* Travel to and from accident site
* Recovery of personal effects
Insurers will also reimburse or pay crisis management expenses incurred for securing a public relations firm and media management services following a crisis event that has an adverse impact on the public image or reputation of the company. All payments under the endorsement are made in addition to the policy’s limit of liability.
As a specialist aviation underwriting business, Global Aerospace is continuously developing customized products and services that will benefit our clients and their brokers.
