Airport Marking Removal

Aug. 5, 2014

Waterblasting.com’s technicians have removed millions of square feet of rubber and paint at airports around the world and have the experience that boasts qualification, confidence, and proficiency.

Our equipment arsenal includes truck-mounted, self-propelled, mobile, and hand-held removal systems. This versatility allows us to have the perfect machine for any job.

Our fleet of Stripe Hog™ waterblasting systems provides the lowest cumulative impact force of any marking method in the industry. The impact force rating is 50% less than that of traditional waterblasting systems.

Our immediate recovery method prevents debris from resettling into the pores, which leaves the runway cleaner, and allows for a lower frequency of future cleanings.

The final recovered waste-water product is filtered to 100 microns. When finalized and ready for disposal, the solids (recovered rubber deposits or paint particles) are disposed of at an appropriate container or dump site.

Our technicians adhere to a strict set of safety standards in all operational procedures. They are additionally trained to vacate and clear any runway they are working on within seconds of notification.
