SHANGHAI, Jun. 21, 2012 – Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd (Boeing Shanghai) announced today that Boeing Shanghai has signed agreements with Nok Airlines Co., Ltd (Nok Air) to perform aircraft maintenance on two of the airline’s Boeing 737-400s at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai.
Boeing Shanghai will complete a C check and full paint on the first of the two airplanes for Nok Air in this month. The second Nok Air 737-400 was inducted on June 12, also for a C check.

Established in February 2004, Nok Air provides domestic and international passenger services with headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand. The airline serves the highest number of domestic routes within Thailand. It currently operates ten Boeing 737-400s and four Boeing Next-Generation 737-800s.
Boeing Shanghai was established in June 2006 as a joint venture between Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and China Eastern Airlines. Boeing Shanghai offers a broad range of services from engineering, aircraft maintenance and modification to material management, and component repair and overhaul. Boeing Shanghai supports customers located throughout the world and has plans to open a second hangar in early 2014.
