“Pack Your Bags” Contest Will Send Six People on Vacation to Spring Training

    Grand Rapids, MI – The Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GFIA) is asking West Michigan to “Pack Your Bags,” and six lucky people will win a four-day vacation in Florida to watch the Detroit Tigers in Spring Training!

    On Wednesday, March 16 from 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. anyone 18 years of age or older can show up at the Airport with a friend, spouse or whoever they would like to take a vacation with. Part of the deal? You have to come with your bags packed and ready to get on a flight that morning! At 8:00 a.m., WLAV radio personality Michelle McKormick, will draw three couples’ names (six total people), and those winners will receive a four-day Florida getaway – which includes tickets to a Detroit Tigers vs. St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training game in Lakeland, Florida.

    Airfare is provided by GFIA airline partner, Allegiant Air. The nonstop flights from Grand Rapids to St. Pete/Clearwater departs at 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, March 16th, and returns at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 19th. The package also includes hotel accommodations, transportation to/from the St. Pete/Clearwater (PIE) Airport, and Detroit Tigers Spring Training tickets for a game on Thursday, March 17th.
