AMETEK MRO Southern Aeroparts and Drake Air Expand Into High Flow Pneumatic and Hydraulic Capabilities

TULSA, OK (April 28, 2021) – AMETEK MRO Southern Aeroparts and Drake Air recently completed a multi-year, multi-million dollar expansion into high flow pneumatic and hydraulic capabilities at the Tulsa Centers of Excellence. By bringing in this state-of-the-art equipment, AMETEK MRO will support new product development in several strategic markets, including commercial aerospace, military, OEM, and non-aviation adjacencies.

The expanded capability supports a full range of aerospace heat transfer components in addition to pneumatic and hydraulic applications. When coupled with AMETEK MRO’s in-house manufacturing and machining capabilities, this expansion further cements the company’s leadership position in the repair and overhaul of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical components.
