Michael G. Feeney, PE, has made a significant impact on projects for clients across the country. At Connico, Feeney has acted as a construction administration and resident project representative on various projects, including runway and taxiway construction and rehabilitation. Altogether, he has worked on projects at more than 70 airports.
At Indianapolis International Airport, Feeney played a key role in a benefit-cost analysis for a runway project. While projects of that size often struggle between FAA regulations and funding, Feeney was able to work closely with a project executive at a partner firm to identify the best runway designs and accelerate the project timeline.
“I absolutely love getting into the weeds of project and discussing it with designers and contractors,” said Feeney, who has Master of Science in Civil and Construction Engineering. “Hearing the different viewpoints of how we all would approach a difficult process is fascinating to me and helps open my eyes to new means and methods.”
Feeney has certifications and licensures from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, OSHA, Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Flagging and Traffic Control, and TDOT Consulting Engineering and Inspection.
An Envision Sustainability Professional, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers and Airport Consultants Council.
