Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Announces Director, Business Diversity Development

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has named Tanja Turner Bell as director, Business Diversity Development. In this role, Bell will be responsible for the administration of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) and the Small, Minority, Women -owned Business Enterprise (SMWBE) programs for the authority. 

Bell has a strong background in diversity, equity and inclusion programs, most recently working for The Birmingham Airport Authority as manager of the Real Estate Land Acquisition & DBE Federal Programs. She also served as the Federal Aviation Administration Liaison Officer for the ACDBE & DBE Programs and for the

Authority’s Title VI and ADA Compliance.

Bell is a proud alumnus of the DeVos Leadership Program (DVULI), Grand Rapids, Michigan, and attended the University of Montevallo, Montevallo, Alabama. Bell is a member of the Airport Council International–North America (ACI-NA) Business Diversity Committee and an ACDBE and DBE Certifier.
