Sperling Promoted to National Aviation Business Development Leader for C&S
David S. Sperling has been promoted to C&S National Aviation Business Development leader for the firm’s aviation practice. Sperling has been with C&S since 2014 and has 25 years’ experience as an airport and aviation consultant, holding various positions with national and multi-national A/E firms. He has provided consulting services to numerous clients including small, medium and large hub airports; airport authorities; departments of transportation; and private entities in 22 states and international markets. His operational and project management experience includes business development and project delivery for aviation planning, engineering, facilities, sustainability, program management, and policy-making and advisory projects.
Sperling is a longtime member of several industry organizations including the American Association of Airport Executives, Airports Council International – North America, and the Airport Consultants Council. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Chapter AAAE (SWAAAE) and the City of Chandler (Arizona) Airport Commission and is a faculty associate at Arizona State University delivering the graduate and undergraduate Airport Planning and Management curriculum. Sperling earned his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Management Technology and his Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University. He will fulfill this role from C&S’s Phoenix, Arizona office.
