On August 8, Mott MacDonald was awarded a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award in the category of airport partner from the Northeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (NEC/AAAE). The award was presented at the organization’s annual conference in Philadelphia.
EDI Manager Roxanna Thomas said, “We are very proud to receive this prestigious award recognizing our values in diversity, equity and inclusion — not just within Mott MacDonald, but also in our relationship with our MWBE partners.”
Roxanna continued, “Working with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on the transformation of JFK International Airport has provided an opportunity to demonstrate our PRIDE values. We are working alongside our MWBE partners in redefining world-class travel with the stunning new fully inclusive developments, and also in the way that we conduct our business.”
The award honors airports and airport partners that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the aviation community. Mott MacDonald was the sole winner in its category.
Presenting the award, Melinda Montgomery, President of NEC/AAAE, commented that Mott MacDonald is a “beacon” due to our level of engagement with XBE partners and our demonstrated commitment to supporting their growth and ability to participant in large and complex projects.
